The winter blah's seem to set in along with biting cold.
Here is a list of 31 things you can do:
1. Lighting - let the sunshine in and work in brightly-lit areas. Your mood will improve and you will feel happier.
2. Bubble bath - Pull out the bubbles, pour some wine, and have a good long soak.
3. Star gaze - It is dark when you get up to go to work, and probably dark when you get home, so take a moment to enjoy the stars.
4. Enjoy the sunrise /sunset - The beauty found in the sunrise and sunset will be sure to lighten your load.
5. Cozy casual dinner parties - Take time out to enjoy time with friends and family
6. Books - Read a book whether it's to your kids at bedtime, or a novel on your day off
7. TV night with popcorn - Hygge is about fun, family moments and this is a classic
8. Start a bullet journal - Keep track of your milestones in a new and fun way
9. Drink new teas - Try something new
10. Artisan chocolate - Pamper yourself with some delicious chocolately goodness
11. Warm socks - Keeping your toes warm will keep your heart warm too.
12. Write a letter - Nothing beats getting out the paper and a pen to write a letter in the old-fashioned way
13. Bonfire - Invite some friends and have a good time around the fire
14. Discover hygge places - these can be anywhere: a cozy nook at the library, or a sense of quiet in the park
15. Neighbourhood - find out what's happening in your community and get involved
17. Create a cozy nook - a warm throw and some soft pillows on the chair by the fire will have you curling up in no time
18. More flowers in the house - Cheer up your home with fresh flowers or greenery

21. Daily walk - try to get out each day. If the weather is not co-operating you can probaly find a walking track indoors.

25. Perfecting hot chocolate - Here's another excuse to indulge in chocolate (of course you have to try multiple recipes)
26. Making chutneys and preserves – January is when oranges are widely available in the supermarkets It's the traditional time to make marmalade, but any other preserves would be just as delicious.
27. Eating seasonally - Soups and stews are wholesome and delicious. They also warm you up
28. Weekly bake - Take a day to bake something fun. It can be anything from muffins for breakfasts for the week ahead or cookies to enjoy for a snack.
29. Menu planning - Get input from your family and make menu planning a fun event. It will help with your shopping list and keep stress down
30. No phone evening - Take a break from your phone and connect with those around you.
31. Gratitude moments - Take a few minutes each day to find something to be grateful for. A positive outlook makes a huge difference in both your life and your family's life
